In construction payment and performance disputes, I regularly represent suppliers, owners, construction professionals and general and subcontractors across Colorado from Steamboat Springs to Denver. Over the course of my career as an attorney in private practice, I have maintained a diverse construction practice including the following areas and representative matters:
• Construction defect claims including claims litigation in state court and in arbitration;
• Performance bond claims;
• Payment disputes including Mechanics Liens, Mechanics Lien foreclosures, and construction payment bond claims; and
• General business practice representing construction firms in contract review, drafting, and change order negotiations.
My litigation experience has involved arbitration (AAA), mechanics lien foreclosure lawsuits in Colorado Courts, payment bond claims in U.S. District court under the Miller Act, and jury and bench trial experience involving defects, performance bond, and payment issues.
